Let's Gaze Into the Future is a short animated spot featuring Mickey Mouse.
Description[]
The short features Mickey Mouse (in Sorcerer's Apprentice garb) attempting to control a crystal ball to scry into the future and (if the fourth-wall-breaking narration is anything to go by) discover what the Disney Channel has in store for the future. Unfortunately, as usual, his magic goes wrong and the floating crystal orb rebels against him, nearly knocking him out.

This sequence was recurringly used on the Disney Channel from 1983 onwards to introduce the ads for upcoming programs on the channel.
The musical score includes a brief quotation of the Sorcerer's Apprentice theme of Paul Dukas, in allusion to the well-known Fantasia segment of the same name where Mickey Mouse first donned the sorcerous costume seen here.
