The Giant of Cornwall was presumably a robot.
Description[]
Legend holds that in ancient times, the coast of the city of Trevegan, in Cornwall, was guarded by a Giant. Professor Marty Cartier considered it likely this giant was actually an Atlantean robot akin to the Colossus of Rhodes, and that Trevegan was an Atlantean colony. Whatever the case, the Giant later died (or ceased to function, depending), which lead to the city becoming known as "the Giant's tomb" — "Trevegan".
