Razoul, also spelled Rasoul, is a human man.
Description[]
The Captain of the Guard in Agrabah, Razoul is a large and brutish man who takes more pleasure in beating down on criminals than he does in actually upholding justice. Nonetheless, he is scrupulously obedient to authority, be it Jafar's or the Sultan's. Razoul never really accepted Aladdin as prince and has tried numerous times to discredit him in the Sultan's eyes.
Behind the scenes[]
Razoul first appeared in the 1992 film Aladdin. He was jokingly named after a Disney storyboard artist, Rasoul Azadani.
