Saturn is the sixth planet from the Sun in the Solar System.
Description[]
Saturn, a large ringed planet, was once home to a sentient race, the powerful and advanced Saturnians. However, over the course of a thousand years, starting in Earth's 10th century, the warlike government that had taken control of the planet wasted its resources in an endless war against Jupiter, and by 1960 there were only three Saturnians left alive: the supreme leader Rebo and his two generals.
Behind the scenes[]
The planet Saturn first appeared in Disney media, as far as is known, in the 1960 story story Astralgoof 9999. It reappeared in a number of stories. As shown in Uncle Scrooge's Money Rocket, the Disney version of Saturn is a telluric planet with a breathable atmosphere, as opposed to a gas giant.
