Description[]
Even more of a klutz than his regular counterpart, this Launchpad McQuack started out as Scrooge McDuck's driver, though he always wished to be a pilot. Like the main Launchpad, this one is always blind to the bad things in the world and strives to be a hero… and he is also blissfully unaware that it is at all possible to land an aircraft, or drive a car, without crashing it. Somehow, despite his unassuming intellect, Launchpad has engaged in several epic adventures over the course of his life and been in several romantic relationship all over the world.

Behind the scenes[]
This version of Launchpad debuted in DuckTales 2017.
Despite being very similar physically to the original Launchpad McQuack, and this being an unprecedented case amongst 2017 Continuum counterparts, this Launchpad isn't actually the same species as the original, according to Frank Angones, as he is merely a pelican-like duck as opposed to a pelican. The reason for the change is unknown.
His birth date, September the 18th, 1987, is a homage to DuckTales, whose pilot debuted on that same day.
